I have extensive experience as both a composer and arranger in a variety of styles; I have composed and arranged a diverse variety of musical works, ranging from classical ensembles such as string quartet, brass band, choir, and symphony orchestra, to jazz band, rock groups, and even music for film and other media. My compositions and arrangements have been performed in Canada, the U.S.A., the U.K., Italy, Germany, and South Korea. I have worked with ensembles and artists such as the Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra, the Brantford Symphony Orchestra, the North York Concert Orchestra, the Odin Quartet, the Mississauga Festival Choir, Slowrise Music, the Music4Life Ensemble, Alexander Panizza, and Juno nominee Lindsay Schoolcraft.

Copying/Engraving, Transcribing, Proof-Reading, Score/Parts Preparation, and Sheet Music Editing

I’ve made a name for myself in the music industry in Toronto as a copyist, after working alongside some of the most prominent professors. Examples of my work have been included in published papers and books, such as "Formal functions in perspective: essays on musical form from Haydn to Adorno" (2015), by Steven Vande Moortele, Julie Pedneault-Deslauriers, and Nathan John Martin. I have also collaborated with Roy Thomson Hall to transcribe lead sheets for the Learning English Through Song (LETS) community outreach programme, which brings together teaching artists and newcomers to Canada, as well as the Iranian-Canadian Composers of Toronto (ICOT).

I offer services ranging from proof-reading or transcribing to editing and preparing scores and parts for printing or publication. Please feel free to reach out to me for more information regarding services offered and pricing.

Web Development

In 2020, my research into music and AI led me to complete a coding certificate in full-stack development through the School of Continuing Studies of the University of Toronto.

Examples of my work can be found in my coding portfolio, and in my GitHub profile.

In my free time I also enjoy watching and playing soccer or association football, and I run a blog on the beautiful game, called Mad About Football, conducting research, and writing and editing articles connected to a variety of topics associated with the sport. I also touch on other larger world, socio-economic,, or political issues related to the game or its players.
